The above pictures are of Dr. Sarazin's office equipment that
is currently being displayed in the Nyssa Historical Society's museum. Dr.
Sarazin brought most the Leuck children into the world. It may very well
be that some of the equipment you see here was used on my dad or others in the
family.

The photos of the single story building above left are of my
grandfather, Frank Leuck standing in the open door of his blacksmith shop that
was located at the NE corner of 4th and Main in Nyssa. The caption says
"1900" but we know he didn't arrive until 1912, the year my dad was born.
The picture is most likely from between about 1913 and 1930.
The pictures to the above right are of the old Nyssa school house which
burned to the ground in 1974.

The above picture are aerial photos of Nyssa looking east
across the Snake River.

Pam and I originally thought the above existing shop across
from the museum might have been my grandfather's old blacksmith shop. We
later learned it was not -- but could have literally been built from the same
plans it was so much alike.

The above picture is from one of the local history books
showing my grandfather as an elected City Councilman in 1916

Another picture of grandfather's blacksmith shop.

From the history of Malheur county are two entries -- one
with a picture of my grandparents (Frank & Wilhelmina Leuck) on their wedding
day and the other about my Uncle Hubert.

the photo immediately above may be of some
of my father's uncle's family. Uncle Nick and Aunt Merzy Ann Leuck.

The above photos are of they students at Nyssa High School in
1928. Both my father and his sister Katherine are listed as being in the
picture. But, I don't know which ones they are. Can anyone help??

the above picture shows the family plots for the Frank &
Wilhelmina and Nick & Merzy Ann Leuck families. The two infant daughters
(Sylvia and Rose Leuck) of Nick and Merzy Ann are under the taller stone in the
middle foreground.
