Ancestors of Norville John LEUCK Sr.

Notes

4. Nicholas LEUCK

Name:  The fact there were seven sons of Peter was given to me by James Marion Leuck.  This name was also given by James as one of two brothers that may have returned to Germany after an argument with his brother Peter. There is no other supportive data for this person except this.

2. Peter Nickolas LEUCK

Church record #h000097-884214-884216 shows that he was baptized during his life on 16 oct 1915.  My records show that he also performed his own endowment in 1957.  The church record shows that he had a proxy endowment performed in Idaho Falls in 1981.  From family oral history I believe my record to be correct but cannot answer why his proxy was done later.

7. Wilhemina KEULPHER (POSSILBY KURBERT/POTSIER)

DEATH: Alternate death date of July 7 1884 in Scott County, Iowa

3. Gusav F. MUTH

BIRTH: This information comes from a grave marker near Wilhemina (Keulpher) Muth.  My guess it is a son and will keep it here until I find out different.

3. Dullie M. MUTH

BIRTH: I believe Dullie to be a female and to be the daughter of Martin and Wilhemina.  This information comes from her grave marker near Wilhemina's.  I will keep her here until I know different.

6. Marriage Notes for Martin Muth and Wilhemina KEULPHER (POSSILBY KURBERT/POTSIER)

Marriage record for Scott County indicate her name as Mena Potsier -- possible that Potsier was the last name of a first husband.  "Mena" sounds like a possible contraction of the name Wilhemina

Scott Co. Records show that they were married by W. Vomhoff with Charles Kahler as a witness.
