The following is from pg. 5 of the publications of the Southern Historical Society, it is as written on the old church books, Friends Books of Records, pg. 18, Vol. Xii:
"Isaac Rickesis, son of afore Is and Kathren was born the seventeenth day of the sixt month in the year 1669."
The following is from pg. 7-8 from an entry recorded in the old Bible of Isaac Ricks. It may not agree with the original reocrds as recorded in the old churc books and was very likely recorded from memory by Isaac Sen.: "Isaac Ricks, Jr. (no date)

The History of Louisa Co., Virginia (Va L4b p 355) errs in that it lists Mary Harris, the wife of #1, James Harris, as a daughter of this family and omits her husband, James. All other sources concur in the listing of James and make no mention of Mary.
